Idea girl, content & social media maven, and co-founder of Simply CX, Tami Jones is a best-selling author wannabe, lover of wine and mother of two furniture destroying cats. Her passion to save the world started at a young age and bloomed a bit more while enrolled at Arizona State University in the School of Human Evolution and Social Change.
Through the years, Tami made a few twists working at Family Service Agency of Santa Barbara, CBS Corp., and Simply CX. These fine places introduced her to new people, big ideas, and global concepts that helped shape the woman she is today. Tami’s not really limited to content creation & social media strategy; she stole a horse when she was seven-years-old to say “hi” to the neighbor’s dogs and ended up on the front page of the Mountain Press, her hometown newspaper. She enjoyed her life of crime if only for the 45-minutes she went unnoticed – until her mother, a local sheriff, discovered her wayward daughter’s transgressions, and her crime spree promptly ended. Forever.
Her biggest fear is forgetting how amazing it is to be alive. She finds it stunning that she’s on her home planet floating out in space, whipping around a very hot star at 1,000 or so miles per hour. And that it’s able to sustain life, and dodge other balls of rock, ice, and gas, to stay perfectly in its orbit. She also appreciates that because of this, she gets to enjoy mint chip ice cream, go hiking and camping, and ride horses that belong to her.
On Sundays, Thursday, or Monday nights, she can be found screaming at the television, lovingly reminding her favorite football team – the San Francisco 49ers – that DEFENSE WINS GAMES. During other times, she can be can be found talking politics and playing devil’s advocate – much to the annoyance of her friends and family or stargazing with a glass of wine.
