Peter is a former Venture Capitalist and founder of the Conscious Business Institute (CBI). As a Principal for one of the world’s leading Private Equity and Venture Capital firms, Apax Partners & Co, he saw first-hand how dysfunctional many of today’s organizations operate, and that the vast majority of employees are searching for better, more fulfilling ways to work and succeed. Realizing the enormous opportunity as well as the global need for building more life-giving and sustainable companies, he founded the Conscious Business Institute in 2005 to provide leaders with paradigm-shfting approaches for business and success.
Combining his experience in business, finance and technology with that of our world’s wisdom traditions, Peter has developed step-by-step approaches for individuals, leaders, and entire organizations to become more conscious, inspiring, and purpose-driven. Peter has worked with organizations from one to over 100,000 employees on five continents, including Starbucks, BMW Group, Siemens, Alllianz, Intel, and Morgan Stanley.
Peter started his career at Andersen Consulting (Accenture) and later co-founded an IT company. He’s the author of 2 books and over 100 articles on business, finance, leadership, martial arts, and technology.
He’s a faculty member of the Goethe Business School in Frankfurt, serves as a global advisor of the Climate Prosperity Alliance, is a member of the Evolutionary Leaders Circle, and is on the board of several for-profit and non-profit organizations.
Peter enjoyes living in Santa Barbara, California, and gets a kick out of Aikido, Capoeira, sailing, and a good dance with his wife.
