(September 2018) Supreme Court Refuses to Hear Case Against State Lands Commission
The California Supreme Court refused to hear the Academy’s case against the State Lands Commision. Though we lost this round, we are confident that the arguments we presented to protect the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) will someday become law.
(July 2018) Supreme Court Appeal in Lawsuit Against State Lands Commission
The World Business Academy lawsuit against the State Lands Commission sought an Environmental Impact Report to address the significant environmental and human health dangers that would result from continued operation of the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant near San Luis Obispo.
