The California Supreme Court last week refused to hear the World Business Academy’s case against the State Lands Commission. This decision, while disappointing, doesn’t detract from the strong legal arguments presented in the case, and we are confident they will someday become law — protecting the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). We urge you to remain optimistic about the legal process. We are also grateful to all the incredible people who stepped forward to support the Academy in bringing this case to the highest court in California.

There is still much work to be done. We will continue now to focus even more intently on our efforts to move California to 100% renewable energy as quickly as possible, using renewable energy systems supported by a statewide microgrid technology, including at the local level supporting Community Change Energy (CEC) and the Montecito Microgrid. Our current projects, including the Clean Energy Moonshot, Powering Paradise, and the Montecito Microgrid Initiative, are all integral parts of the roadmap to a clean energy future.
Again, thank you all for your continued support.
